Liquid Diets are No Fun

As I posted earlier, 2 of Tatum's bottom teeth(her molars I think) are coming in at the same time. While she is still sleeping well through the night, she has decided that she doesn't want to eat. We discovered these new teeth on Thursday or Friday. Sunday and Monday Tatum didn't eat anything. She drank about a cup and a half of milk and that was it. Today she ate a little at daycare, but she still didn't have her appetite back. However, there was a sign of hope tonight...

Tonight, Antonio did BBQ chicken on the grill and I did mac n cheese in the kitchen. We gave Tatum her normal baby food which tonight consisted of green peas and ravioli. She again pushed her food away (aka threw it on the floor). I decided to let her try a little of my BBQ chicken and she LOVED it(I guess Tatum and her Grandmommy will have to fight over the BBQ chicken in the future because BBQ chicken is one of Grandmommy's favorites too!). She ate half of mine and lots of mac n cheese too. Antonio and I think that she is tired of her Gerber toddler food, so we are going to save some money and start feeding her what we eat if possible. That Gerber food gets a little costly after a while. I am hoping this will work. I will keep you posted.

Girl, you better watch out. Mac 'n cheese is one of Uncle Clif's favorite and BBQ chicken is definitely Grandmommy's favorite. That is two big people you will have to watch out for. I'm just kidding!!! I will be glad to share with you anytime. I'm glad your mommy and daddy finally figured out that your baby food is not nearly as tasty as grownup food. See if you can get them to cook you a hotdog or a hamburger on the grill. They are good too. Yum! Yum!
