God does listen.

I wanted to quickly update about Tatum and how she is doing since I posted how bad yesterday was.

I slept SO good last night once I finally got to sleep around 1am. I just kept checking on Tatum because I wanted to be sure she was okay, but once I finally was out, it was great sleep. My alarm went off at 6:30 and I reset it for 7. At 7 I debated for a bit...1) Do I just assume Tatum is feeling better because she is sleeping so well? I COULD just turn off my alarm and sleep in a bit. OR 2)Do I still get up out of my cozy, comfortable bed and get ready to take Tatum to the dr?...

Well, Tatum slept GREAT last night and didn't wake up until 7:30 this morning which is when I got her up. We didn't hear a single peep from her all night! At 7:30 I took Tatum her cup of milk and let her drink it in bed while me and Antonio continued getting ready. I was in the bathroom and heard Antonio yell, "OH NO, NOT AGAIN!?!?! This is NOT good!" I ran into Tatum's room to see Tatum looking up and laughing while sitting in her throw up. That's right, she threw up again this morning. I was really glad I had already started getting ready because this girl needed to go to the dr, but not before Antonio gave her a quick bath. After the bath, we went to the dr. and here is what they said...

Tatum is teething (DUH!) which is why her nose is running so much and she is drooling. Her low grade fever is also from the teething. The dr. checked her ears and said she does NOT have an ear infection and her ears looked great. I asked why she was getting sick in the morning and the dr. said it was because of all the drainage. So, we were told to get a humidifier, do saline drops before bedtime, and the dr. gave us a sample of something to help dry up her nose a little bit.

Antonio, Tatum and I left the dr.'s office and took Tatum to daycare since she had been cleared to go. I have not received a call from daycare yet either, so I guess she is doing well.

One last note...Tatum got weighed today at the dr's office and she weighed 20 pounds and 12 ounces, BUT they weighed her with all of her clothes, diaper, shoes, and socks on, so I am guessing she is a little over 20 pounds probably which means we will be turning the car seat around in TWO weeks!

The hard teething "cookies" are the best things in the world.
