As I have stated in a few posts, Mateo is not very fond of any of his cool stuff (swing, carseat, bouncy seat, tummy time mat, etc). None of it is cool to him at all. Here is a little video of how things go when I put him in any of them. This is the swing, but you will get the idea.
I don't mind keeping him busy or holding him during the day, but I would LOVE any suggestions of how to get him to not scream his head off in his carseat! We are heading to New Orleans soon and that could make for a very long car ride if he cries the whole time.
So advice and suggestions are VERY welcome from any and everyone. What have you done if your child hates the carseat?

I don't have any suggestions...but I might have insight in to why he doesn't like it. My sis-in-law was put on bed rest with Gracely and she HATES her swing, too. Lauren was told that when women have to go on bedrest, the babies get used to the stillness. I can't remember if you were on complete bedrest, but that might be why he hates those things.
I think he will grow out of it pretty soon with the carseat. I hope for your sanity he won't cry the entire way to New Orleans!
Well, Brady pretty much did the dame thing! He would cry every time we got in the car the whole way anywhere...and then he would sleep while we were where ever and start crying again when we would get back in the car! Sounds like you're going to have to get one of those wrap things I had with Kaden and just take him to work with you!
Your making it all up! What did you do? pinch him to make him cry for your video?
