Pregnancy Cravings....

Some of you out there have been wondering what Baby Boy Simpson is "craving" these days. Well, here are some of the things that I usually don't eat, but find myself eating a crazy amount of these days.

Let's start with my morning routine. I eat an apple every morning.

Sometimes I have my apple with peanut butter, and sometimes plain. I know the peanut butter is good for protein, so it helps me go longer without getting hungry.
I also fix a cup of crushed ice and grab a bottle of the G2 Gatorade since it is lower in calories. Right now, I am preferring the purple one more than the others.
I loved sushi before I got pregnant, but I still love it now. Don't worry, I only eat the rolls that are cooked, so no harm for the baby. Plus the salad with the ginger dressing was great for me while I was getting so sick all the time cause the ginger was supposed to help my nausea.
Finally, I have been eating Lenny's every other day for the past 2 weeks. I actually had it for lunch today and just picked it up for supper too.

I guess that's all I am "craving" right now. The apples have to be my #1 though for sure. I eat them ALL the time. I definitely have some in the morning and usually one at night too.
For you other pregnant ladies out there(or those of you that have ever been pregnant), what are YOU (did you) "crave" while you were pregnant???

When I was expecting Katie, everyday after work I had to stop at Taco Bell and get a soft taco supreme, with no tomatoes. With Kara, I could not get enough cereal.

I am with you on the apple craving. I eat at least one a day. I love them. Fruit is probably the only thing I crave and still get to eat. But I tend to crave the things I can't have . . . like a Lenny's sub (my doc says no to deli meat), and all the yummy sugary desserts I'm skipping. Rarely do I really eat things that I like throughout the day. It's just mostly what works for my diet restrictions. No wonder you aren't gaining with that little bit you are eating, Lol!!

I will be the bad one and say that I ate at least one or two twix candy bars a day... So yes, I was a lard you know what..... 42 pounds!!! At 18 weeks, I probably had already gained half of that. You need to start gaining missy!!!!

Jenny-Let me refresh your memory that I gained 41 LBS with Tatum and I didn't make it to half way there until I was 32 weeks, so while I am a "late weight gainer", don't you worry cause those LBS will hop on very quickly and won't let go so easily after Baby Boy Simpson arrives (if these LBS are anything like the ones I gained with Tatum). So, if you were a lard at 42 lbs (which I don't remember you being), then I was a lard at 41 lbs. ouch!

MMmMMM! Now I'm going to be craving your cravings!!
I'm with you on the sushi! I wish we had a Lenny's here so I could eat their chicken salad sandwich! Too bad I don't live in Memphis or we'd have to lunch together!

My craving has mostly been for junk food and cinnamon toast crunch cereal.

For Hayden, it was Hot Wings and I normally hate spicy food. For Mary, I am sad to say that it has been Krystal's. Jason is very pleased.

With Kayla it was....Turkey sandwiches with a little mayo. Just Turkey, untoasted bread and mayo!! Still sounds yummy to me:)

Hey, April! Tatum is getting so big!!!!! The beach pictures are so good---you've got such a beautiful family! Thanks for letting me keep up with you guys.

When my cousin was pregnant she craved Lays plain potato chips--daily. and one day she thought about how good they'd be crushed up like cereal with milk on them...and all they had was chocolate milk, but she poured the chocolate milk on there anyway and ate the whole bowl. She said it was so awesome, that it became her daily snack. NASTY, huh??
