Baby Shower

Last weekend, my friend Dana and I hosted a baby shower for our friend Heather. She is having a boy and it will be her first.

We had the shower at a local restaurant and I must say that it worked out great. Dana and I met up about 2 hours before the shower so we could eat lunch and catch up(she moved to KY a few months ago) and after lunch we went to pick up things for the shower. It was all going well until after lunch when we walked out of the restaurant and it was POURING DOWN RAIN!!! So for the next hour and a half, we ran around in the rain getting the cake and other things. Needless to say, when we got to the restaurant, we were a mess. In spite of looking a little rough, the shower was great! Here are some pictures from the shower...

We had a great time at the shower. We ate, played games, watched Heather open presents, and visited with one another. It was definitely the easist shower I have even helped in.

A huge thank you to Heather for letting Dana and I throw a shower for you! You are going to be such a great mother and James is going to be a great Daddy!! I can wait to meet Jayden!

Also, a HUGE thanks to Dana for helping with everything and running around with me to pick everything up! Mia is just PRECIOUS and I can't wait to see you guys again soon!(Hopefully sooner than later!)
